Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the continued delays of the Phipps rug and that the website did not show that the product was out of stock at the time of purchase. We recently experienced a problem with our stock system which was swiftly resolved, however this meant that for a short time, certain products had been shown as in stock, when this was incorrect. We are sincerely sorry for this error. The delay of the Phipps rugs is attributed to production delays, which we are continually endeavouring to shorten as much as possible. Each individual Phipps rug is hand made on a wooden loom, and is then sun dried. This in itself is a lengthy procedure but due to recent adverse weather conditions the drying of the rugs had not been possible, and production had been severely delayed. However, I am pleased to say that this new stock arrived at our warehouse early this week and your rug was despatched from our warehouse yesterday and has been scheduled for delivery to you today.
