It's certainly very disappointing to see that this beautiful new shirt was not fully to your liking when received, which we're truly sorry for. We provide high-quality shirts here at Charles Tyrwhitt and it's always upsetting whenever we see a customer not enjoying their purchase. While we understand the thinking in correlating the thickness of a shirt to the quality, that is not entirely accurate. The thickness of the shirt is determined by the weave - some weaves are thicker, while others are thinner and lighter. All are made with the same excellent quality cotton, but have different properties. Should you have any concerns over a product, we would hope you'd get in touch to let us know before taking any action such as throwing away or disposing of it, so we can try to help. We appreciate your feedback here, but of course are sorry to see that you did not have the best possible experience on this occasion. That's a huge disappointment for us, as we aim to provide the very best in terms of the overall customer experience. Shipping from the UK - requiring clearance through US Customs - may take a little longer, but we do offer two expedited shipping options which will reduce that timeframe considerably. In respect of the shirts, when first coming out of the packaging (where they have likely been folded for some period of time) they will undoubtedly have some creases - that is quite unavoidable. We would always recommend washing the shirts before the first wear, both to remove those creases as well as the 'freshen up' the shirts in general. We very much hope that they will grow on you and be enjoyed, but you always have our guarantee should you not be fully happy and wish to return them.
