Diversions are regularly updated on the Wye Valley Walk website, which we link to in our Holiday Pack. Regarding the issue with beds, we’ve checked your booking on our system and the reservations all look correct, so we’d like to chase up the error with our accommodation partners. Providing the right beds for tired walkers is pretty critical, after all! If you could submit a formal feedback form, available through our Members Area, and detail the room and bed setups you were provided with on the affected nights so we know exactly what went wrong, we’ll investigate right away. Thank you for your feedback on the South Section of the Wye Valley Walk. This is probably the tamer half of the complete trail, especially the section through the borders, focusing on a softer bit of countryside, so I can see why it might not quite match the character of the trails you’ve completed with us before – they’re pretty uniformly epic! I’m glad the latter half of the walk, which feels most in touch with the River Wye itself in the Wye Valley National Landscape, came through for you in the end. I'm sorry to hear about the long diversion you encountered. Route revisions are most regularly updated on the official Wye Valley Walk website, which we link to in our Holiday Pack, and are most illustratively displayed on their interactive map: https://www.wyevalleywalk.org/walk Regarding your comments on the quality of the inns along the way, we’d be very interested in any specifics you can provide. If you could fill in your formal feedback form via the Members Area, that would be fantastic and hugely appreciated.

Excellent. Accommodation was on the whole very good. Only minor grumble was that in two places breakfast service did not start until 8.30 which is a bit late for walkers who have to have luggage...
