We are sorry for the oversight regarding the towels. For stays of seven nights or less we provide one set, however for stays of eight nights or more a refresh should be arranged during the stay. We are pleased that reception was able to assist when you asked, but this should have been arranged proactively and we apologise that this was missed on this occasion. With regard to the sleeping arrangements, the villa is advertised as a one bedroom garden view villa with twin beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge, suitable for up to two adults and one child. This is the property you were allocated. We were also concerned to read that the property did not appear clean on arrival. This is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver and we will be following this up with our housekeeping team. Thank you again for your feedback. We’re very pleased to hear you enjoyed the location and found the apartment clean and tidy on arrival and that the underfloor heating added comfort during the cooler evenings. We appreciate your comments regarding the kitchen space. As the apartments vary slightly in layout, some do have more preparation space than others and your feedback is helpful for us to keep in mind. With regard to the bed, we can confirm this is a standard 4ft 6in double, as advertised, though we do understand this may feel smaller if you are used to a larger bed at home. We are sorry to hear it creaked during your stay and we will arrange for this to be checked and resolved. In terms of the view, we do offer a number of sea view apartments which many guests particularly enjoy. Availability of these can depend on how the booking is made, as not all property types are offered through third-party agents. Guests who book directly with us have access to the full range of apartments and can choose specific views and locations, subject to availability. We would, of course, be delighted to assist you directly in the future should you wish to return and experience one of our sea view properties. That said, we do work closely with owners and carry out regular maintenance and redecoration during the winter months to ensure standards are maintained. Thank you also for highlighting the TV and the bathroom taps. We will ensure these are checked in the specific apartment you stayed in so any necessary improvements can be made. Please accept our apologies regarding the cobwebs and marks you noted on the walls — this is not the standard we aim to deliver, and we have followed this up with our housekeeping team to ensure this is addressed. Thank you also for highlighting the issue with the kitchen bin. We were not aware of this prior to your stay, and this has now been noted for replacement. With regard to the windows, due to our coastal location, salt in the air and prevailing winds can very quickly leave a residue, even shortly after cleaning. While our window cleaners attend regularly, unfortunately it isn’t practical to maintain a just-cleaned appearance at all times, but we do appreciate your comments. In terms of kitchen towels, dishcloths and additional items such as blankets and condiments, as a self-catering property we provide a starter set of essentials, but do not routinely supply these items. We understand that expectations can vary and appreciate your feedback in this regard. We’re pleased to hear that you found many other aspects well provided, including the kitchen equipment and welcome items, and we also appreciate your comments on the wetsuit drying area — this is helpful feedback for us to review.
