I'm very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the shoes you have received. There is, unfortunately no strict conversion between UK and US sizing systems, so sizes can vary between different manufacturers, and we are not familiar with Freed's sizing in order to comment on the comparison. However, our sizes are based on a traditional English size grading which, from our experience, has proven to be accurate in the vast majority of cases. Obviously if our sizing was as inaccurate as you have suggested, we would have a significant number of complaints that would force us to alter it. Provided that the shoes are as new and show no signs of wear, you are welcome to return them to us for exchange or a refund as per our returns policy (which you can see
here). If you include a note with the returned shipment expressing your concern regarding the sizing, we will examine the shoes thoroughly to check that the sizing is correct, and if it appears that there has been a manufacturing error, and the size of that particular pair is incorrect, then we would be happy to issue a new pair, free of charge, or issue a full refund for the order.
