Thank you for your feedback on the OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) standard. MIST was introduced in 2009 to provide a consistent level of safety awareness across everyone working offshore in the UKCS. Atlas Knowledge provides MIST-Online which has been designed for experienced workers to be time and cost efficient whilst ensuring that the key safety topics are assessed. Across the 130,000 completions online, the course takes on average just 3 hours, which is a considerable saving on the equivalent 2 day MIST classroom course. MIST-Online is also just 17% of the cost of the classroom version and can be completed any time and anywhere with an internet connection.
