Hi Jean, Thank you so much for your review. Its always good to hear our walkers are happy with our service. We do try to make sure everything runs smoothly from the booking to the last transfer delivery and 99.9% of the time that works. Of course there is the occasional hiccup which is not always our fault, but we do take every precaution to ensure all bags go to correct places each day. Hi Rob, Thank you for your comments regarding our pricing. We price up our transfers using a mileage and time basis which we have found to be the fairest way to calculate a journey along the complete 630 miles of the South West Coast Path. Your Fowey Transfer to Looe was a 12 mile walking day, but the driver either had a 26 mile car journey or he had to pay on the Fowey to Bodinnick Ferry.... this is why it was priced as it was. The following day your journey from Looe to Millbroook was 12 miles again on foot on the path whereas the driver had a 16 mile car journey which was priced on the most direct route.Unfortunately as a single walker your bag has only a £2 discount each day on the standard rate given to 2 bags. In lots of circumstances where there are a few people in a group the bags really are £8 each, but with a single walker unfortunately this is not the case. In certain areas too the prices are much lower. We do try to be fair in our pricing and to be totally honest the take up rate of our quotes that are sent out are over 90%. We have an amazing FEEFO result and also hundreds of testimonials on our website to let prospective customers see just how we rate in the world of Luggage Transfers! In the grand scheme of things, we actually move around 10,000 bags a month for our private clients and for over 25 walking Holiday Companies from the UK and overseas. I do hope you will return to do another part of the path, perhaps a part that does not have any rivers or estuaries, which I can assure you are much cheaper for your transfers.
