Our media adverts are based on the most cost effective options available and we we do regret that you were not aware that the flight option was on a low cost carrier. The advert also confirms that transfers are not included in the offer although we note that your agent did email you with various options in this regard. We do trust that despite the matters raised that your city break will progress without further issue.

Having read the very mall print (which I had failed to do) in the newspaper advertisemnt I do agree it does mention that transfers are not included - my error.
I did not relalise your holidays were by budget airlines.

We apologise that you were initially not called when promised. This will be addressed. The information on our website for the hotel booked is quite extensive giving room types and hotel facilities and we have emailed this to you. We have also emailed the suppliers information as given to us and trust that this will give the information required.

We had a good holiday, hotel was really good but had reserved two three bedded rooms rather than three two bedded rooms. After some discussion the problem was resolved, The hotel manager said the next day that it was not Holiday Gems at fault but whoever dealt with the booking between them and the hotel. My overall experience was good and I would use them again. Thank you

The upgrade was granted before the room requests were mentioned.
Also the upgraded room was at a slightly higher cost (£25) than another holiday companies web site I had previously searched for the next grade room below junior suit. So not entirely free so to speak.
If you would like to arrange flowers, fruit and a nice bottle of wine in the room for when we arrive I will reconsider our rating of Holiday Gems upon our return.
