Mr Skinner we are sorry to hear of these issues with your originally selected hotel but also most concerned that if you had any problem with the replacement, you did not contact us to report this and did not allow us opportunity to address them. We can only presume that it did not detract from your overall holiday enjoyment.

Thank you to responding to the feedback.
We had better things to do with our holiday and money it would cost to spend our time calling you guys every 5 minutes when there was a problem. When our holiday was originally cancelled and we received an email, we couldn't actually get hold of anyone, when we called the contact number it came up as number changed, then offices closed etc etc. We had to wait for one of your team to call us back.
To be honest, the whole process was nothing but stress from the first booking being unavailable. Now I have had the time to read other reviews it looks like I am not the only one that has had issues. Also when i got back from holiday i took the time to read the reviews on the hotel you booked for us. You might want to do this yourselves prior to recommending hotels and given then a 5 start rating.
Hope this gives you a better understanding from our point of view. I did take the time to take photo's of some of the faults at the hotel, but like I said, we had better things to do.
With disappointment, we will not be booking another holiday with Holiday Gems

The booking online was quick easy and straightforward. Had a telephone call to state that there was a small problem not of Holiday Gems making, which was easily solved over the phone.
