Yes - so sorry about that, unfortunately the bank charges us 2% for each transaction so we split it with our holidaymakers 50/50. No charge for a debit card or a cheque though if that's of any use in the future. Many thanks.

I have looked at your reservation, and you are absolutely right, there definitely were shortcomings in our service and we could have done better on this occasion. I have no excuse to offer you, simply to say that this is incredibly unusual for us and that we are sincerely very sorry not to have made a better first impression.
