Poor service
We had a hotel only booking that we could not stay in due to covid restrictions in the country

Hello Graham, for a hotel only booking your contract is with the supplier and hotel. Destination2 are therefore not refusing to move dates, they are. However, since you have provided some evidence they are willing to look into this and our customer service team will liaise and address this for you. Hopefully it achieves the result you desire.

2 months on and we still have no resolution
The hotel is now willing to move dates for over £400 extra, which is just not acceptable

We can appreciate your frustration but since you have a hotel only booking your contract is with them, and regrettably, costs have increased due to supply and demand. We have no control over this. We are sure you can appreciate that whether abroad or UK, this is generally the same scenario as the tourist industry tries to recover. You have however been assisted to our utmost.
