Sorry about the mice but, as you say, there is always some risk they'll find a way into the house in rural locations - try as the owners might! - we're glad they don't seem to have upset you too much. The property isn't among our cheaper cottages but the location - a short walk to one of Asturias' finest beaches, with all the facilities of Colunga and Lastres just nearby and the mountains tumbling down behind - is one of the best (and most sought after by those-in-the-know) on the north coast. We also feel that the decor and space at La Guadesa is also a 'cut-above' the usual offering, particularly among smaller properties, all of which we think justifies a higher price. We're sorry you found it a little expensive but very glad to hear that you seem to have had a good holiday experience overall.

Wow! We couldn't ask for better than that! We will of course review the directions again but the get-in at Casa Paloma is a bit tricky - but well worth it as you seem to agree!
