We found the meal experience in Pousada Chiquitin, Melide, very disappointing. The restaurant seemed like a store room. The food was passable but it would have been more pleasant to go out for dinner that night. The other disappointing meal experience was at Casa de Acivro GH Rua-Pedrouzo. The restaurant seemed to be separate from the accommodation. We were told at check in that we could have breakfast until 11 am. As it was a short day of walking ahead, we decided to take our time in the morning and went down after 10 am. It was self-service and there was hardly anything left and the waiter/owner was not too helpful. We had to ask for crockery, cutlery, more bread, fruit etc. However, when other people came in for breakfast - not from that accommodation and so choosing from the menu and paying - he seemed much more accommodating.
