How do we deal with fake reviews?

Changed writers and No Cover letter

I requested same writer as orig resume and was assured the same writer would be used. However, upon completion I discovered a different writer had been assigned and created revision/update of resume....

If you look at the *file name* of the resume/documents we've sent to you-- you'll notice they all begin with the initials LW --which are Lori's initials (your writer). Overpriced

I feel the service is overpriced. You nickle and dime the customers for anything extra. You also should mention that hotmail email addresses dont receive your emails to the inbox.

Dear William,

I'm so sorry to read this! Please note that we actually have a huge, large red message alerting hotmail users to add @resumewritinggroup.com to their approved/safe senders list so that our mail can go to their inbox rather than to their junk mailbox. Additionally, we provide you with a password to login to your account on our site at any time and download your new resume. It's pretty typical of services like Hotmail to auto-place emails from companies in the end user's junk mail folder until that company is added to their sender list. In any event, I'm glad you got in contact with us and were able to successfully download your new resume.

I do see that you paid less than $140 for a writer & editor to work on your new resume. When you factor in everything from credit card processing fees to advertising costs, etc;....and then guesstimate how much your writing team earned per hour to do a professional job...I'm sure you'll agree that we are VERY reasonably priced after all.

I submitted my resume to an online site that critiques resumes and this what they came up with. Your current resume is underselling you to prospective employers. It needs to shine the best light on your experience, qualifications and accomplishments. The visual presentation and content contained in your resume isn’t as impactful as it could be. Employers want to know about your previous contributions and specifically how you’ve made a difference. More importantly, they want to know how you are going to make a significant difference at their company. Use bullet points to your advantage, to increase the impact of your experience. Too much long text makes it difficult to zero in on the most important information. Also consider size and type of bullets. After all, visual impact of a resume is the first step to ensuring that an employer reads it thoroughly. It may not seem obvious, but a regular review of every word and sentence in your resume is a good idea. Hiring managers are looking for an excuse to eliminate you as a candidate. You may not be able to see awkward phrases and grammatical errors if you've already spent a lot of time with your own resume. I was hoping you could address some of these points and make necessary corrections.

You actually submitted the resume we wrote to the sales department of a competitor resume writing website! Regardless of the high quality of your submission, it's their job to send you a "critique" implying they can do better--so that you will pay them money to rewrite it!

Ironically, if you hire them to write you a resume and then you submit what they write for you under a different name, they will even critique their own resume--not realizing they created it!
