Let down by call centre...

I had some questions about the hotel and I decided to speak to someone. Unfortunately I only got vague and inaccurate informations which led to me cancelling my booking.

Dear Ms Bogani,

Thank you for taking the time to review the service you received from my call centre. I review all of our feedback and ensure every aspect is acted upon.

I can see that you made a call to my team to ask some questions regarding the room layouts and cost of the food at the hotel. I'm sorry that you feel that the information given was vague. We pride ourselves on our expert knowledge but unfortunately at the time of the call we didn't have one of our Thailand experts available who had been to that hotel.

We are constantly training the team on all of our products but there are always those odd occasions when we need to ask specific questions to our hoteliers, which was offered, but I do understand it was a late booking and there was a risk of the price changing which is why the booking was made online after the initial call.

I have spoken with my Team Leader and I understand we cancelled the booking free of charge for you due to the circumstances and I apologise that my team couldn't be more specific on the initial call for you.

I can see that you are a regular customer of Sovereign's and have travelled with us recently. We really appreciate your custom and I hope we have the opportunity to restore your faith in Sovereign.
