As you have rightly pointed out there is a excess fee for all gadgets in the event of a claim. It is part of our policy terms and conditions that a customer can not make a claim within the first 14 days of their policy. There are good reasons for this, and we do try to avoid disappointing anyone by asking our customers to read and agree to the terms and conditions before purchase. In order to help improve the service I have made a note that this should be made clearer.
