We were sorry to learn that due to a medical incident, your wife was unable to travel for some time, when you contacted us on the 15th of January. We explained that a transfer so close to departure was not possible and therefore, cancellation at this time would result in 75% cancellation fee. Our response to you on the same day asked that you email us to confirm cancellation in line with our terms and conditions. Five days passed until you confirmed your cancellation which given it was 24 days before departure, resulted in a 100% cancellation fee. At this stage, we would anticipate that you would look to pursue a claim via your chosen travel insurance provider who would generally provide cancellation cover.
Air passenger duty is non-refundable as referred to below, featured within our booking conditions.
Important Note: Certain arrangements may not be amended or transferred after they have been confirmed and any alteration could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements. Air Passenger Duty will always be non-refundable. Whilst we understand your disappointment we can really only apologies and hope that your wife has made a full and speedy recovery.
