Dear Sir, As the outer packaging was reported as “perfect” with a damaged product within we requested a quick photograph to help us with our recourse with the manufacturer. Nonetheless we offered to replace the Bain Marie and replace the damaged unit at our cost. The courier and manufacturer were unwilling to assist in the cost of the replacement as the goods were signed for as checked and in good condition and we had no evidence in support. The original Bain Marie came from our stock with free next day delivery. The replacement unit had to come directly from the manufacturer hence the difference in delivery. We will be of course investigating the possibility of a previous return being sent in error. We’re sorry that we’ve lost a valued customer but maintain that we did offer our assistance and a solution in good faith and at our cost.
