Thanks for your reply. I've built it painted it and made it look decent. Stripping the felt doesn't appeal to me. I e-mailed with photos already. If yours was the phone call with no number or, Id displayed, I wouldn't have answered it anyway because of scam risks. I've looked at more reviews on here and Trust Pilot and on reflection should have followed my instinct and not ordered an on line product. With respect to the goalkeepers who are left to placate disgruntled customers, you have my sympathy. I've asked for nothing from you and that's what I've got, any number of these reviews are worthless because those making the products don't bear the pain of dealing with it; and nothing changes. There are lots of happy customers according to this site but, far too many unhappy ones. Finally, I wonder what would happen with any product for the home costing £500 which arrived with as many niggles as this one? Bad experience, time to move on.
