Thank you for your feedback. We have used this tape kit ourselves to both repair and join our Polyex liners and have had nothing other than success with it. The tapes primary purpose may be insulation tape, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have other uses as well. I'm not sure why you haven't been able to get the tape to stick on this occasion, and had you contacted us directly to discuss this we would have discussed various reasons why this could be the case and if you still couldn't get the tape to work we would of course process a refund for you, we wouldn't expect any of our customers to keep something that didn't work.
