We are here to provide advice on all of our products 6 days a week and would have happily explained the length of the hoses, and that this is a single chamber vacuum so will stop/start as it works had we been asked - and these details are also listed on our website for you to view before ordering. The Pontec Pondomatic is a great vacuum option for those who don't want to spend the amount of money required for the Oase Pondovac range, and for smaller ponds that require less maintenance. They do take longer to use, but they are less than half the price so there are pro's and con's to this particular model.
