  Thank you for your fair feedback. I do show that your resume was completed in 3 business days. You had requested that a career counseling phone call take place first and were informed that we would not begin writing your resume until we had spoken to you first. Our experience is that our resume will be done much more efficiently...and be more powerful...if we have that coaching call FIRST-- rather than going back and amending our work..."after the fact." I see that you and your lead writer were able to speak on Monday, February 5th and that your new resume was sent to you 3 business days later on Thursday, February 8th-- the same deadline that Amber gave you during your phone call.

  Reviewing the call logs, I see that you and a career coach spoke for just over 1/2 of an hour and focused on strategies to help you fine tune your job search. Your coach is exceptionally trained and has successfully handled hundreds of sessions.  I'm sorry to hear that you weren't thrilled with the time you spent with her. I must admit this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone being dissatisfied with any career counseling call from any of our coaches.  I will review the call again to see if I can find any room for improvement and then act on it accordingly.

  As a show of good faith, I have issued you a $50 refund against the coaching call you didn't love. Also, if there is anything else about your resume that you would like to see revised, let us know and we'll jump on it right away.

  I think you have a strong resume now and will do very well in your search.

    I'm so very disappointed to read this. I just reviewed our communication exchanges and only see you "thanking" your lead writer for their work and asking for a few moderate revisions which are currently well under way.

Deciding what to include and what to omit is a pivotal part of the resume writing process. If there is something specific that you would like to see re-included, just let us know.  The nature of this feedback is unfortunate but I thank you for it. It is our mission to do our very best work and to help our clients achieve their career goals successfully.

  I've taken the time to review the resume you submitted to us, the resume we wrote for you, and the correspondence between you and your lead writer. I do show that upon receipt of our first draft, you asked for "more updates" and Joyce almost immediately replied to your email request with the following message:

"I apologize that you are not satisfied with the initial draft. I would be more than happy to make any revisions necessary to ensure satisfaction. Can you please clarify which details were left off? Upon receiving this information I will make the necessary revisions and also update the formatting. I want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the final copy. Thanks! "

   Your response was:

"The specific areas on my resume that I would like changed are:1. FONT for headers and subheaders. It is too busy and bold. I feel it takes away from the content of the resume. Also page two looks confusing as it appears to be a separate resume not a page two. 2. No boxes around paper or headers or subheaders, see aboveThe very first sentence under my name on page one is not even a complete sentence. I can modify it myself but wanted to bring your attention.Presidents Club is a very important distinction in my industry. I will put that under current accomplishments."

 Joyce responded by making all of your requested changes on January 30th and submitting a second draft. Did you not receive it?  Sometimes it is possiblefor files to end up in a user's junk/bulk mail folder and that may explain why you're not seeing it...... This is the first we've heard from you since but we are definitely eager and available to help you further with your career if you need.

I see the writers replied to all of your messages-- Can you please check your junk mail folder? Nothing appears to be wrong w/ the options you chose... I do see the lead writer did email you some advice re: strategy for this resume based on her professional experience...

   To help, I'd like to make sure you received the correct file. I'm comparing the resume that you sent to us with the resume we sent back to you and I see it completely revamped and fresh. Of course, we cannot change your work history...we can only strategically organize it in a way that adheres to your current goals...while making the wording shine....

   Please confirm the copy we sent you reflects the following examples???:

You sent us the bullet points:
*Train and develop Assistant Managers.
*Full P & L accountability and reconciliation.
*Implement new menus.Interview, hire, train, and oversee all phases of discipline, including termination.

We sent you back:
*Fulfilled key leadership position overseeing high-performance team while simultaneously managing $2M in volume.
*Conducted in-depth training to significantly boost team performance; implement individualized action plans as necessary.
*Demonstrated strong organizational abilities while managing P&L accountability and reconciliation.

  Aside from merely "adding color" and significantly re-writing your resume to make it ATS-compliant AND more powerful, we carefully re-arranged it to remove the outdated "references" section and the bland "summary" which was presented more like a cover letter. We spruced it up by creating an entire "Qualifications Profile" AND A "Key Areas Of Expertise" section. All of this takes hours of carefully thought out labor from full-time professional resume writers. If you did not receive a copy reflecting all of what I've described, let me know and I'll have it re-sent. If you DID receive all of this, please let me know what you'd like to see changed, and we'll get right on it. I must say, however, in light of the fact that your old resume was completely re-written, completely re-formatted, and entire sections were strategically added and removed...to write that we "took (your) old resume and sent it back some color" is hardly fair, don't you think!?!?!
