Affordable, comfortable, clean, on time-- and traveling in a sleeping car by the ferry across the straits of Messina was memorable.

Seat and amenities were different than what was advertised.
We paid for the highest priced seats which was supposed to include a meal, no meal was provided. The train was also late, so we missed out connecting train to Rome.

Easy, affordable - way to travel - puts US train travel to shame
Most affordable trip, seats were comfortable and gratis vino - what more could a person ask for. N.B. they assign train seats in Italy unlike the US.
