Thank you very much for taking your valuable time to send us this feedback. I must apologise profusely for the problems that you have experienced with this order. On investigation I have discovered that our supplier, in order to reduce the lead-time for your order, arranged for the goods to be sent directly from their German factory, rather than bring them to their UK site for checking and dispatch. We have found that although the correct delivery address had been communicated to the German factory and in turn by them to their reputable carriers, the carriers entered the address incorrectly onto their system, somehow substituting the postcode for an Oxfordshire postcode! Our suppliers were given various conflicting status reports by the carrier: that the goods were out for delivery, had been delivered, were lost, were back out for delivery, were refused. Eventually the carrier discovered their mistake and made the delivery. All through the delivery process our suppliers have passed on exactly what their carrier has told them, in turn we have passed this you our the customer. Our supplier has had to review their systems as a consequence of this, and have decided not to stray from their policy of insisting that the goods are always delivered to their UK base, for checking and in turn despatch, as they can exert more control over the delivery process, if they despatch from the UK. With regard to the comments regarding the adhesive, it cures over 24 hours, as long as the surface is clean and grease/dirt/dust free the profiles will stick with no issue at all.
