Delivery of gaviscon very slow. Still hasn't turned up.

Having called, I am glad to hear that you have received your product. When we send orders, we send them by First Class post or quicker. Under normal circumstances we would have expected it to have got to you within a week at the very latest.
If you do order from us again, and for some reason your order does not arrive, please do contact us and I am sure we will be able to help.

I am a bit confused as to why something sent first class took ten days to arrive. Also, I am not too keen on you ringing my partner twice during the day. That feels a bit threatening to be honest.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for your quick reply. To answer your first point, unfortunately, Royal Mail can take a long time to deliver even First Class post. The vast majority of orders, in our experience arrive within 3 days of being posted but it can take far longer if something happens en route. Royal Mail itself does not consider First Class items lost until 15 working days after despatch so while 10 days is an exceptionally long time for an order to arrive, it is not unheard of.
This bring me to your second point; us calling you directly. Our aim was not to threaten, but simply to clarify what the situation was and ask how you wanted to proceed. As I mentioned above, 10 days is an exceptional amount of time for a parcel to be delivered. Therefore, in these circumstances we would offer a replacement order.
In cases such as yours, where there has already been a delay in you receiving your order, we always feel it is prudent to speak to you directly rather than sending an email that may not be read immediately. This is the reason we called and once again, if you did feel threatened I do apologise; we simply wished to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
