Bien classique! This refreshing, apple-scented Chenin Blanc will make a great aperitif or partner to goats cheese and salads. Vouvray Sec is the perfect wine to pair with locally-made potted pork rillettes, and together they make a dangerous combination as both are extremely more-ish. A benchmark Chenin Blanc from this historic appellation, the refreshingly oak-free Vouvray Sec wine from Domaine Aubert has a classic Bramley apple bouquet and a lovely crisp clean orchard fruit palate, with a touch of residual sugar which adds a lovely honeyed-edge to its tangy fruit base.
