Do not make the mistake of under-estimating this Poulsard from Domaine Jean-Louis Tissot - a light, ruby-coloured Jura red, which harbours aromas of red fruits and a spicy palate with some grip. It is the perfect wine partner to grilled trout, roasted poultry, or Morteau sausage with lentils. The most widely planted of the Jura region's red wine varieties, Poulsard (aka 'Ploussard' by those crazy folk south of Arbois) enjoys the Jura's marl soils.
