This single-varietal Garnacha (Grenache) from Tinto Nero is grown on loamy, silt soils ('Calizo') at over 760m (2,500ft) altitude in Maipu, south-east of Mendoza. This limestone subsoil imparts freshness and minerality to this elegant red. With ripe berry aromas, spice and deeply intense savoury, saline notes, this Argentinian red wine from pure Grenache (Garnacha) works well with grilled red meats, salsas and roasted peppers.
