The 'Grands Carmes de Simone' comes from the original vineyards of Aix-en-Provence's Carmelite Monastery, some 5km from Palette. Vinified by the Rougier family in the same way as the Château Simone-labelled rosé wine, its distinctly unique terroir makes it an intriguing comparison. Certified organic. The grapes for this unique provençale rosé wine are sourced from vines averaging over 30 years old, grown on north-facing limestone slopes. The blend is predominantly Grenache Noir, with additional Mourvèdre, Merlot and Cinsault in the mix, depending on the vintage.
