'Cuvée Columelle' is a dense, dark-ruby coloured Provence wine with a wonderful red cherry nose. It exhibits rather more concentration and evident oak aging than the 'Tradition' cuvée, but has plenty of Domaine Richeaume's signature sleek, dark fruit. Certified organic. Domaine Richeaume's 'Cuvée Columelle' (named after Roman viticulturalist Columella) is blended in this vintage from 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 52% Syrah. It is a rich, heady, hedonistic offering with enticing garrigue herb scents and is packed with dark stone fruit flavours against a fine tannic structure that will see it mature gracefully for a decade.
