Domaine Richeaume's humble IGP Méditerranée is a supple white wine from old-vine, handpicked grapes, grown on the slopes of Mont Saint-Victoire near Aix-en-Provence. It shows mineral and floral characters on the nose leading to a rich, deftly oaked palate of white orchard fruit and mineral undertones. It has weight, depth and complexity. Certified organic. Although best known for its red wines, Domaine Richeaume also bottles this fine white wine, made from a judicious blend (in this vintage) of 15% Rolle, 15% Viognier, 35% Grenache Blanc and 35% Sauvignon Blanc , that are fermented seperately in vats and then racked into barrels prior to a rigorous assemblage. It has a bouquet of wild flowers and a subtle, savoury, mid-weight palate that lends itself well to boldly-flavoured Mediterranean dishes."Domaine Richeaume ‘Tradition Blanc’ is typical Yapp fare...
