Jean-Pierre Py's red Corbières wine 'Cuvée Mondière' hails from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and old-vine Carignan that are vinified separately in vat (75%) and barrel (25%) prior to fastidious blending. It is a chest-thumping crowd-pleaser, full of the blushful Hippocrene, that will go down a treat with a rib-eye steak or sausages and mash. Certified organic & bio-dynamic. This red Corbières wine has a lovely bouquet of briary, hedgerow berries and a sleek, juicy palate with lots of ripe black fruit flavours over a background of supple tannins.
