Intensely coloured and deep-flavoured Corsican red wine made from 100% Nielluccio (Sangiovese). Red fruit and exotic spice combine with fine tannins and structure to make an approachable wine that will age. Lionel Wojcik's exciting new venture in Corsica follows his boutique St Emilion Grand Cru Château Alverne, using the same Radoux oak barrels as his friend and wine adviser Louis Mitjavile (Château Le Tertre Roteboeuf, Roc de Cambes, Domaine de l'Aurage).Patrimonio chalk and clay soils to the south of Cap Corse produce deep flavoured and darkly coloured red wines.
