AOC Patrimonio: Domaine Paradella Blanc 2022

From Lionel Wojcik's exciting venture in Corsica, Domaine Paradella in Patrimonio. It combines the mineral and fruit delights of Corsican Vermentino with maturation in French oak to create a rich, silky white, ideal for pairing with herb-encrusted seafood or fresh fish. From a 1.3ha parcel of vines on clay-limestone soils in Poggio d'Oletta, this Vermentino wine is harvested and sorted by hand to ensure optimal quality. Lionel Wojcik - of St Emilion's Château Alverne - is advised by his winemaker friend François Mitjavile (Château Le Tertre Roteboeuf, Roc de Cambes, Domaine de l'Aurage).Deep straw with hints of gold, this rich white wine is made from 100% Vermentino. Intense stone fruit aromas belie a suave minerality, opening up to complex stone and tropical pineapple a lengthy toasty finish with hints of lime leaves and violets.
