‘Klein Louis’ Sauvignon Blanc follows its rosé sibling ‘Petite Marie’ as an excellent value wine from Napier Vineyards. Made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, it’s sourced from the cool-climate vineyards of Darling, on the Cape Atlantic coast. Brimming with tangy green apple, nettle and grassy gooseberry aromas and flavours accentuated by zingy grapefruit acidity. The climate in Darling – some 40 miles north of Cape Town on the Atlantic coast – is a little cooler than around the homestead of Napier Vineyards in Wellington (an hour inland). The fruit for the ‘Klein Louis’ Sauvignon Blanc comes from vineyards cooled by sea breezes and morning fogs that originate with the Benguela Current which runs north up the western coast of Africa. Warm days and chilly nights help retain freshness in the fruit. Napier Winery: 'Klein Louis' Sauvignon Blanc 2024. Napier Winery. South Africa Wine > Wine. White Wine
