Pascal Labasse's nervy, young Jurançon Sec 'Énergique' from his beloved Domaine Bellegarde, in the shadow of the Pyrenees at Monien. This uniquely flavoured wine is produced from a blend of Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, planted on clay-limestone south-western facing slopes. Made from a blend of Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, from Domaine Bellegarde - one of the most respected wineries in Jurançon. 'Énergique' exhibits white flower and grapefruit on the nose with stone-fruit and cassis flavours, smooth on the palate and dry on the finish. Best drunk young and lightly chilled. Pair this wine with shellfish and crustaceans, smoked charcuterie or local Pyrenees cheeses. Jurançon Sec: Domaine Bellegarde 'Énergique' 2024. Domaine Bellegarde (Pascal Labasse).
