This classic, muscular Pinot Noir requires 3 to 5+ years cellaring before starting to reveal its potential, and now has a loyal following amongst our customers. 'Les Teurons' is one of the 42 Premier Cru vineyards (there are no Grand Crus in Beaune) that sits plum in the middle of this 400+ hectare appellation, just outside the iconic home of the Burgundy wine trade. Pascal Gay (son of François) is based in Chorey-les-Beaune, where he produces a range of wines from different local appellations (Beaune, Chorey, Savigny, Ladoix, Corton). This Premier Cru Beaune, named 'Les Teurons' has complex game and forest floor aromas supported by concentrated dark cherry and damson flavours against a background of rugged tannins.
