It has appealing apricot scents and a smoothly-textured, mid-weight palate of plums and peaches with subtle, savory notes of fennel and minerals and a persistent, dry finish. This Marsanne - Roussanne blend is as rare as hen's teeth, with only 4000 bottles being produced per annum. It is the only white wine produced at legendary Domaine Auguste Clape, and hails from the tiny (65 hectare) appellation of Saint-Péray on the West bank of the Rhône opposite Valence.
