Domaine Buisson-Battault's mineral, old-vine white Burgundy from Meursault is characteristic of the appellation, and Chardonnay's ability to transmit its terroir. Characteristically lean in style with a hint of ‘struck match’, it is underlined by a flinty minerality and rich white peach and citrus flavours alongside a little vanilla and brioche on the finish. . 'Le Limozin' is sourced from the limestone-clay soils of the aforenamed 0.55 hectare lieu-dit situated mid-slope to the west of the village of Meursault. Vines date from 1928 and 1986. Hand-harvested and optically sorted before pressing. Elegant and refined, this would pair perfectly alongside veal or pork tenderloin with a buttery bearnaise sauce or a grilled sole meunière.
