An elegant, well-structured Alsace Pinot Noir hailing predominantly from the clay and limestone Grand Cru sites of Pfersigberg. Only 400 cases are produced annually, even in a relatively prolific and excellent vintage such as 2016. Léon Beyer's Alsace Pinot Noir, like it's Burgundy relative, full of red fruit flavours - raspberry, blackcurrant, currant, cherry. The 'Comtes d'Eguisheim' cuvée is from the best slopes, mostly 'grands crus', and is produced only in good years. It displays maturity, outstanding fruitiness, and exceptional quality.
