Léon Beyer's 'Vendanges Tardives' Gewürztraminer is full and sweet, only produced in the best years from grapes harvested when over-mature or having attained noble rot. The subject of the most stringent legislation in France, they are unique offering extremely concentrated flavors of tropical fruit, licorice and sweet vanilla.Serve cool (10 degrees C.) as an aperitif, or with Foie Gras, duck, or desserts such as Pineapple fritters and Banana flamed in rum.
