Known as the ‘King’ of Beaujolais for being one of the longest-lived expressions of the Gamay grape, Arnaud Aucoeur’s classic old-vine Moulin-à-Vent wine has voluptuous berry fruit flavours, a lovely floral lift on the nose, fresh acidity to underscore a touch of savoury spice and an enticing blackberry and cherry finish. The Cru of Moulin à Vent in Beaujolais is named for the historic windmill that dominates the local skyline rather than a village or commune. The appellation has a reputation for producing wines which have the stuffing to age and this cuvée comes from sixty year-old vines. Drink now or cellar for a few years as it further develops in bottle with truffle and leafy undergrowth notes and more intense spice coming to the fore.Serve lightly-chilled with a roasted vegetable ratatouille, grilled meats or confit duck. Beaujolais Moulin-à-Vent: Arnaud Aucoeur 'Tradition Vieilles Vignes' 2022. Arnaud Aucoeur. Burgundy Wine > Beaujolais Wine. Red Wine
