"The 2016 Terrasses Du Larzac from winemaker Frederic Pourtalie is up there with the 2010, and my money is on it being one of the finest cuvées to date. Revealing a ruby/purple hue as well as gorgeous notes of kirsch liqueur, wild fennel, garrigue, exotic spice, and pepper, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a terrific core of sweet fruit, and ripe, silky tannins. It’s a hedonistic, beautifully balanced wine from the Languedoc to enjoy any time over the coming 7-8 years or more. Drink 2019-2027, 94 points."Jeb Dunnuck - JebDunnuck.com. With a deep garnet robe and diverse aromas of dark cherries, saddle leather and wild garrigue herbs and berries, this is clearly from an ascendant estate. The palate exhibits a wealth of ripe black stone fruit with peppery undertones and a firm structure of tannins. Certified as an organic wine.Another coveted addition to our burgeoning Languedoc stable, this neighbour of Grange des Pères was established over 20 years ago and encapsulates the joy of this region - rich, sun-kissed reds with hints of the surrounding garrigue."One of my favorite estates in the Languedoc."Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate.
