Our \'house\' red wine is made from pure Cabernet Sauvignon and, consequently, exhibits a mid-weight palate of cassis fruit over a background of ripe tannins - a classic table wine. The Yapp Brothers own label red wine is a pure Cabernet Sauvignon cuvée produced by the reliable Ardèche co-operative. A jolly good "day to day", easy drinking wine. I was introduced to it in a local restaurant as a House Wine and shared a bottle with a very good friend. It received positive comments from both of us.
