The Yapp Côtes du Rhône Red is a terrifically versatile mid-weight Grenache - Syrah blend. Garnet in colour with a bouquet of cranberry and black cherry lifted by pomegranate and sandalwood, its rounded palate of forest fruit and peppery spice make it an immensely easy-drinking wine. The grapes for the Yapp Côtes du Rhône Red are from steeply-terraced vineyards around the village of Bourg-Saint-Andéol, with similar soils to much of the Rhône valley - 'galets roulés' and gravel.
