This youthful Ardèche Pinot Noir is a wine with subtle strawberry scents and a core of soft, juicy redcurrant fruit with pleasant smoky undertones over gentle tannins. It won't be harmed by a brief sojourn in an ice bucket!. This Pinot Noir from the Vignerons Ardéchois is a light and supple wine, with a couch of juicy berry fruit that lends it well to light chilling. Nobody is going to mistake this for a Gevrey-Chambertin but it does have appealing raspberry aromas and supple, stewed red fruit flavours over a foundation of fine tannins - light enough to serve with or without food, it makes for an ideal kitchen table wine, or for a picnic with it's convenient screwcap bottle.
