With a hint of wild strawberry on the nose, this dry sparkling rosé is very much a local wine to us, being grown and produced in Somerset. Made in the traditional method with whole berry bunch pressing, it has a delicate mousse. Lovely fruit flavours typical of English sparkling wine precede a long, fresh finish. This is only just average. English wines are still comparatively expensive and whilst some are worth it, this one isn't. Lacks elegance and finesse. Try the Furleigh Estate sparkling rose instead.
