From what you’ve described, it sounds like your blades aren’t performing at their best. That’s often due to dirt, road film or the lack of washer fluid in the tank. Here’s a quick fix: Step 1 – Clean the blades Wipe the rubber edge with warm water and a soft cloth. Skip the harsh cleaners — they’ll only dry out the rubber. Step 2 – Clean the windscreen Use an automotive glass cleaner (avoid Windex) with a microfibre cloth to lift residue and grime. Step 3 – Top up the washer tank Add a washer additive — plain tap water can leave water spots and shorten blade life. One last thing — double-check that the plastic protective strip is removed from the blades. If these steps don’t help, no stress. Your blades are still under warranty and we’ll send a free replacement via Express Post. You’re also welcome to send us a short video so we can take a closer look and provide more tailored advice.
