I can confirm that most of our deals do not include this and it will be paid directly to the merchant however not all deals automatically charge it. This should have been stated in the terms of the voucher as well as I recommend checking the terms and conditions listed on the deal page as well. All of the taxes and fees additional to the voucher cost will be paid on the full value of the deal. This still falls under the discount as you would still have to pay that regularly when booking directly with the merchant.
