Trafalgar Reviews

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to read that your tour fell short of your expectations and that you felt the overall experience did not represent good value for money. We understand your disappointment with the demanding itinerary, extensive time spent travelling by coach and limited opportunities for independent exploration. We also regret that the standard and location of the hotels did not meet your expectations, particularly given your concerns about noise, insects and the comfort of your rooms. Your comments regarding the quality, variety and portion sizes of the included meals are also concerning. In particular, we take your report that several guests experienced food poisoning following an included dinner seriously. Guest wellbeing is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. We recognise that accommodation, dining and a well-balanced itinerary are important parts of the overall holiday experience. Your feedback regarding these areas, as well as the additional costs associated with optional experiences, will be shared with the relevant teams for review. We are genuinely sorry that this trip has left you feeling disappointed and has affected your confidence in travelling with Trafalgar again. Thank you for sharing your concerns and giving us the opportunity to review the aspects of the experience that fell short of the standard you expected.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to read that you gained valuable knowledge during your trip, although we are sorry that aspects of the experience fell short of your expectations. We regret your concerns regarding the standard of the accommodation, particularly the hotel in Sofia. We understand how unpleasant it must have been to encounter cigarette smoke throughout the property and in your room, especially when you were expecting a comfortable environment. The service you describe from the hotel staff is also concerning, and we are sorry this added to your disappointment. We also acknowledge your concerns about the quality of the included dinners and the lack of meal choices during some excursions. We appreciate that, when paying additional fees for dining experiences, you expect meals to be of an acceptable standard. Receiving cold, dry food after paying €75 would understandably be frustrating. Your feedback regarding the accommodation, staff service, dining quality and value for money will be shared with the relevant teams for review. We are sorry that these issues affected your overall enjoyment of the trip, and thank you for bringing them to our attention.
